TUBAE is a governance, social accountability, human right and social-economic organization operates across the Turkana County with forty nine (49) registered groups comprising of women, youth, peasants and private sector. Our membership is 85% Women, 10% Youth and 5% Men..
The core mandate for its formation was to exploit and conserve the endangered Aloe species (Echuchuka),found in Turkana County, through artificial propagation, value addition and marketing of dry land products to alleviate poverty. Since 2006, TUBAE successfully patented their members locally processed products as " Echuchuka" with Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) and certified by Kenya Bureau of Standard (KBS). This was the first community initiative to own a collective Trade Mark (An Intellectual Property-IP) in Kenya aimed at addressing vulnerability among women and youth groups in Turkana County. With emerging issues in 2010 TUBAE adopted new thematic areas in fulfillment of community needs namely;- Devolution and Governance, Human Rights & Access to Justice and Media Advocacy in addition to the Social development program.

On Matters Corruption
Is a form of dishonest or criminal offense undertaken by a person or organization entrusted with a position of authority, to acquire illicit benefit or abuse power for one’s private gain.
Corruption can occur on different scales;-
1. Drug trafficking,
2. Money laundering,
3. Abuse of office by office holders- Integrity issues (e.g. Employee of government being service providers again),
4. Human tracking .
